Stress (Sensational Haiku Wednesday)

half our lives we rush

there's always not enough time

until time runs out

♥♥♥

stop for a minute
feel the breeze, inhale deeply
 that moment is yours

♥♥♥

seize the day, they say
but we let the day seize us
we live on the edge

♥♥♥ 

one day at a time
that's how it should always be
take control of LIFE

Medieval Mist

my knight in shining armor

so soon must you leave

oh king of my heart

from afar i hear
the trumpets pealing

i know you must depart

off to war
into the woods
and beyond

must you join
your valiant army
to face your foes
with mighty roar
where earth shall
turn to red
from a pool of blood
spilt by the slain
i shall but sit here
and await
the joyous trumpet sound
announcing
my knight's return
proudly mounted on
his white gallant steed
and crowned
with olive wreath
thence shall i run
to his waiting arms
and ride with him
into the mist of eve

mirror of myself

like i know you forever

sacred bond so strong

sharing the same thoughts

kindred love was meant to be...

predestined to meet

destined to be one

nothing can break us apart

eternal promise

Respect (Haiku)

 try to understand

consider others' feelings

friendship is respect...

when there's no pressure

and you give each other space

oh, that is respect...

keep an open mind

refuse to judge another

yes, that is respect...

build up the person

instead of tearing him down

heed the golden rule...

noteworthy though is

the highest form of respect...

learn to love yourself!

A Flicker of Sunlight

longing
yearning
wondering...

if love
so deep
can happen
again...

praying
hoping
waiting...

love's sweet
rendezvous
that's long
overdue...

flickering
dwindling
fading...

beneath
the moon's
dimming span
the stars commiserate

expecting
desiring
aspiring...

perhaps
the break of dawn
will bring her closer
to her sunshine
