Medieval Mist
my knight in shining armor
so soon must you leave
so soon must you leave
oh king of my heart
from afar i hear
the trumpets pealing
the trumpets pealing
i know you must depart
off to war
into the woods
and beyond
into the woods
and beyond
must you join
your valiant army
to face your foes
with mighty roar
where earth shall
turn to red
from a pool of blood
spilt by the slain
i shall but sit here
and await
the joyous trumpet sound
announcing
my knight's return
proudly mounted on
his white gallant steed
and crowned
with olive wreath
thence shall i run
to his waiting arms
and ride with him
into the mist of eve
