taking that big step
blindly towards the unknown
that's a leap of faith
an embattled soul
down a winding path of grief
tenacious spirit
if you ask me how
i got to where i am now
prayers led me here
let go of your pain
healing will not come easy

It's a lovely poem.

I like this stanza the most. This is how i understood it.
Forgiveness does require a leap of faith for we don't know what will come later. It is also the most healing remedy of any malady because to forgive is to love and to love is to grow.
madhumakhi, you said it right. it all boils down to "love"... oh, but that is such an abused word. the bottomline is that, one should never force himself to forgive until he's ready to do so.
