If God brought you to it,
He will get you through it.

Leap Of Faith (A Haiku Collection)

 taking that big step
blindly towards the unknown
that's a leap of faith

an embattled soul
down a winding path of grief
tenacious spirit

if you ask me how
i got to where i am now
prayers led me here

 let go of your pain
healing will not come easy
learn to forgive first

I am lazy, on and off and always have official stuff to take care of.

trying to get poets rally poetry up today, it is late.

Glad to read your Faith Haiku, beautiful.

Bing Yap December 11, 2010 at 11:31 PM

leo, work forced me out of poetry. i had to stay away from creative writing for awhile. thanks for appreciating my piece. and thanks for hosting haiku heights. :)

Bing Yap December 11, 2010 at 11:36 PM

jingle, i hope i can join the rally this time before i go off to another long blog holiday. you see, i have very special guests coming home for christmas until new year. that's also why i had to rush my work and poetry/creative writing was getting in the way.

faith is all i have... and faith is all i need. i live that fact. :)

thanks for dropping by, my friend.

madhumakhi December 12, 2010 at 4:39 PM

It's a lovely poem.
" let go of your pain
healing will not come easy
learn to forgive first"
I like this stanza the most. This is how i understood it.
Forgiveness does require a leap of faith for we don't know what will come later. It is also the most healing remedy of any malady because to forgive is to love and to love is to grow.

Sandro December 12, 2010 at 5:49 PM

Forgiving is often too hard, but it has a tremendous healing power. if only we all wereableto practise it more...
Very lovely haiku, it was so nice to read it in my morning:)
Pls have an enjoyable sunday!

Bing Yap December 12, 2010 at 7:57 PM

madhumakhi, you said it right. it all boils down to "love"... oh, but that is such an abused word. the bottomline is that, one should never force himself to forgive until he's ready to do so.

happy sunday to you!

Bing Yap December 12, 2010 at 7:58 PM

sandro, it is hard to do indeed. it must come from the heart. but what if the heart is broken?

thanks for appreciating my post. :)

The Write Girl December 13, 2010 at 11:06 AM

Beautiful and so full of hope. Faith is such an amazing thing. I enjoyed your poem. Thanks for your visit!

Ella December 13, 2010 at 12:17 PM

YOUR view is so touching~ Time helps us move on, but doesn't ever ease the pain. It just lessens the impact of the heart. I am sorry for you loss~

Yes yes, learn to forgive first!

Beautiful! I always try to take "Leaps of Faith", because I believe in them. Beautiful piece!

Being happy doesn't mean everything's perfect. It means you decide to see beyond the imperfections.

"Count your blessings. Once you realize how valuable you are and how much you have going for you, the smiles will return, the sun will break out, the music will play, and you will finally be able to move forward to the life that God intended for you with grace, strength, courage and confidence." ~ Og Mandino

If I could wish for my life to be perfect, it would be tempting, but I would have to decline, for life would no longer teach me anything.
