He will get you through it.

Respect (Haiku)

 try to understand
consider others' feelings
friendship is respect...

when there's no pressure
and you give each other space
oh, that is respect...

keep an open mind
refuse to judge another
yes, that is respect...

build up the person
instead of tearing him down
heed the golden rule...

noteworthy though is
the highest form of respect...
learn to love yourself!

Learning to love yourself is the very first thing to do. The rest will fall into place.

brian, that was indeed a sad and shocking post. thank God you decided to continue writing because, as you saw on your comments thread, so many people are ready to back you up. you would have been a big loss in the blogging world. your poems always lift us up, entertain us, or teach us something new.

that was brave of you to do though and i respect you all the more now. thanks for sharing your "nightmare" story with us.

Being happy doesn't mean everything's perfect. It means you decide to see beyond the imperfections.

"Count your blessings. Once you realize how valuable you are and how much you have going for you, the smiles will return, the sun will break out, the music will play, and you will finally be able to move forward to the life that God intended for you with grace, strength, courage and confidence." ~ Og Mandino

If I could wish for my life to be perfect, it would be tempting, but I would have to decline, for life would no longer teach me anything.
