If God brought you to it,
He will get you through it.

Reflection (Haiku)

in hindsight, all pains
that come our way are meant to
make us grow stronger

what seemed like aimless
journey, now it has revealed
a profound purpose

like a butterfly
breaking out of a cocoon
a new dawn appeared

with new wings to soar
heights that i've never been to
fly higher i will

This week's theme: Reflection

Very well said and oh so very true. Some people never get this either.

Have a terrific day Bing. Big hug. :)

I so needed to read these words today. Thank you for penning them.

It is hard to see the benefit while suffering the pain, but once one is on the other side, the gains are there to compensate. Very nice haiku.

That first haiku is so wonderful I would especially like it to be grammar perfect. If you would please, put an s on pain to make it plural OR change are to is in the second line. ;) (This is not criticism. It is very hard to compose poetry in any language but one's native tongue and you have done an outstanding job.)

Bing did anyone ever tell you that you are a magnificent person and just truly a person that makes one feel good all the time? My friend these are beautiful and so well done. I love them all. You are just brilliant :) Have a wonderful Wednesday :)

Jenn@ You know... that blog? May 27, 2010 at 1:36 AM

Very nice, Bing! Uplifting and moving forward at the same time. We all need to live this way. Without occasional pain we simply wouldn't appreciate the pleasures of life.

Seemingly aimless and random journeys take on meaning through the process of reflection. Thanks for the powerful reminder!

Beautiful poem, and yes we are our own masters. Experiences are what makes us exist and fly higher day by the day to where we are for always shining. :)
Your blog is beautiful.

Being happy doesn't mean everything's perfect. It means you decide to see beyond the imperfections.

"Count your blessings. Once you realize how valuable you are and how much you have going for you, the smiles will return, the sun will break out, the music will play, and you will finally be able to move forward to the life that God intended for you with grace, strength, courage and confidence." ~ Og Mandino

If I could wish for my life to be perfect, it would be tempting, but I would have to decline, for life would no longer teach me anything.
