Peace, Relaxation and Spirituality

sweet solitude reigns
unperturbed by winds of change
sublime bliss unfolds...

as turmoil eases
and turbulent passions calm
halcyon days begin...

the soul rests easy
whatever this life bestows
faith mutes all the noise...

A very beautiful poem with such feelings of calm and peace.
I love the thought, "faith mutes all the noise..." I never really thought of it that way, but so very true.

Bing, this is a beautiful tribute to peace. My favorite line is: "whatever this life bestows
faith mutes all the noise..." In the end we have to have faith that everything will be okay and peaceful once again, don't we? Lovely, moving piece.

Being happy doesn't mean everything's perfect. It means you decide to see beyond the imperfections.

"Count your blessings. Once you realize how valuable you are and how much you have going for you, the smiles will return, the sun will break out, the music will play, and you will finally be able to move forward to the life that God intended for you with grace, strength, courage and confidence." ~ Og Mandino

If I could wish for my life to be perfect, it would be tempting, but I would have to decline, for life would no longer teach me anything.
