The Green Dragon's Quest

there was once a green little dragon
who lived in a faraway mystical jungle
his eyes were blue
and full of rue
he was alone
on his grandiose throne
and so one day he decided to roam
to seek the legendary gnome
but found instead a lonely blossom

"why are you sad?"
the green dragon asked
"because i am ugly...
i look like no other and i don't feel cozy,"
the blossom replied
"but that is exactly why you are a beauty,"
the green dragon cried
"there's no one here like you
you are unique
so don't be blue"

she looked around and said,
"yesssss... i am me
and i am pretty!"
  the blossom started to sway
to the wind's gentle play
and the green dragon went on his way
back at his throne
he laid prone
with a big smile and not a groan

Upbeat, light and ooo soo true. Everyone is unique in there own way and it doesn't matter what you look like on the outside. Beautify comes from deep within the soul and your heart. That makes the person and the whole :) Well done my friend :)

He went for sad to happy because of a flower. I like it very much. Many of us have smiled over beautiful flowers. It just fits.

Have a terrific day Bing. Big hug. :)

Being happy doesn't mean everything's perfect. It means you decide to see beyond the imperfections.

"Count your blessings. Once you realize how valuable you are and how much you have going for you, the smiles will return, the sun will break out, the music will play, and you will finally be able to move forward to the life that God intended for you with grace, strength, courage and confidence." ~ Og Mandino

If I could wish for my life to be perfect, it would be tempting, but I would have to decline, for life would no longer teach me anything.
