Contemplation (Haiku)

 you used to wonder
if things will fall into place...
finally they did

slowly unfolding
wisdom from journey of past
new lessons were learned

molded by hard times
stronger, wiser than ever...
embrace the new you

never have regrets
it happened for a reason
move on... don't look back...

It's all we can do Bing. If you can't change anything then dwelling on it won't help at all. Just makes you old before your time.

Beautiful as always. Have a terrific day. Big hug. :)

Bing this is just beautiful it is an inspiration.

Moving on without looking back is sometimes easier to say than to do--but not impossible!

Unfortunately I am finding I am having to revisit my past in order to just what you have advised: to let go.

Bravo to you Ms.Pink!

These are brilliant and so right on the mark. You hit it out of the ball park with the last one. :) Bing my dear sweet one, you have truly moved onward :)

Jenn@ You know... that blog? July 8, 2010 at 2:23 AM

A sure sign of strength when you don't dwell on the past, but get on with living your life. If only everyone could do that. Very nicely said!

amanda, i'm glad you like the post. thanks so much.

Bing Yap July 8, 2010 at 1:18 PM

magical mystical teacher, you are right. even if one has moved on, "looking back" can't be avoided... there are days when it happens. it all depends on how you handle it. thanks. :)

Bing Yap July 8, 2010 at 1:19 PM

5th sister, it helps a lot, you know. by looking back, sometimes it helps you identify what is it really that you have to let go of. =)

Bing Yap July 8, 2010 at 1:23 PM

thom, i am doing my best here. no one else can help me but myself so i might as well choose that path which would make me happy. i don't want to live a miserable life forever. thanks for dropping by again, friend. {{{hugsss}}}

jenn, initially it was a slow process- one step forward, two steps backward. eventually, you get to see that you have options after all- to be happy or to be miserable. whatever is a person's choice, nothing should stop him/her from living his/her life. =)

This was a wonderful poem. It is very true that you are only tested with what you can handle. It took me a long time to understand that if I was being confronted with a situation, it was because I had the strength to withstand it. Much love...

Being happy doesn't mean everything's perfect. It means you decide to see beyond the imperfections.

"Count your blessings. Once you realize how valuable you are and how much you have going for you, the smiles will return, the sun will break out, the music will play, and you will finally be able to move forward to the life that God intended for you with grace, strength, courage and confidence." ~ Og Mandino

If I could wish for my life to be perfect, it would be tempting, but I would have to decline, for life would no longer teach me anything.
