Music Monday ~ Scenes From "The Notebook"

"The Notebook," one of the best romantic movies of all time, is the story of a poor boy who predictably fell in love with a beautiful, rich girl. What was unpredictable though was how far he would go to prove that they were meant to be together.

The gentle romantic tale of Noah and Allie comes alive again in this video featuring Westlife's "I Wanna Grow Old With You."

A romantic Music Monday to all of you!

Another day
Without your smile
Another day just passes by
But now I know
How much it means
For you to stay
Right here with me

The time we spent apart will make our love grow stronger
But it hurts so bad I can't take it any longer

I wanna grow old with you

I wanna die lying in your arms
I wanna grow old with you
I wanna be looking in your eyes
I wanna be there for you
Sharing in everything you do
I wanna grow old with you

A thousand miles between us now (sigh)

It causes me to wonder how
Our love tonight remains so strong
It makes our risk right all along

The time we spent apart will make our love grow stronger

But it hurts so bad I can't take it any longer

I wanna grow old with you

I wanna die lying in your arms
I wanna grow old with you
I wanna be looking in your eyes
I wanna be there for you
Sharing in everything you do
I wanna grow old with you

Things can come and go I know but

Baby I believe
Something's burning strong between us
Makes it clear to me

I wanna grow old with you
I wanna die lying in your arms
I wanna grow old with you
I wanna be looking in your eyes
I wanna be there for you
Sharing in everything you do
I wanna grow old with you

The Notebook was a really good movie, but I had never listened to Westlife or noticed their lyrics. Very good song, and thank you for sharing. Happy Music Monday! Being happy doesn't mean everything's perfect. It means you decide to see beyond the imperfections.

"Count your blessings. Once you realize how valuable you are and how much you have going for you, the smiles will return, the sun will break out, the music will play, and you will finally be able to move forward to the life that God intended for you with grace, strength, courage and confidence." ~ Og Mandino

If I could wish for my life to be perfect, it would be tempting, but I would have to decline, for life would no longer teach me anything.
